Application material request template

Use this template to define what you ask artists to submit during the application stage.

The goal is to request enough material to make a strong pre-selection, without asking for more than your team can genuinely review or more than artists should reasonably prepare at this stage.

Every material request should have a purpose.

Application materials

For this application, we ask you to submit the following materials:

Option 1: Basic package

Use this when you want to keep the first application accessible and review a broad group of artists.

This package is intended to give us a first impression of your work, background, experience, and availability without asking you to create new material for this stage.

This package helps us understand [specific skill, artistic quality, presence, voice, movement quality, text work, improvisation, musicality, creative approach, or role fit] before inviting artists to the next stage.

Option 3: Deluxe package

Use this carefully and only when the stage of selection or the role genuinely asks for it.

Please submit:

This package asks for a higher level of preparation. We use it only when the material is directly relevant to the role, the project, or the next stage of selection.

If you choose this package, be clear with artists about why the material is needed, how it will be reviewed, and when they can expect a response.

Video or self-tape instructions

Please do not spend unnecessary time on production quality unless stated otherwise. We are interested in your work, not in how polished the recording is.

Short artistic question

If you include a written question, keep it focused.

Examples:

• What draws you to this project or company?
• What kind of work are you currently interested in?
• What do you feel you could bring to this process?
• Which part of this opportunity connects to your artistic practice?
• Is there anything you would like us to know when reviewing your application?

Suggested length: [100 to 200 words]

A short answer is enough. We are not looking for a formal motivation letter unless clearly stated.

Availability and practical information

Please confirm:

After the deadline, our team will review the submitted materials and make a pre-selection for the next stage.
